How Can I register on Daanadcmsmatrimony?

Only DAANA members have access to this website.

Registration on Daanadcmsmatrimony is very easy:

Simply click on JOIN & SIGN UP on Home Page.

After your payment in processed via PayPal, you will be redirected to our Sign up page on our website where you enter your name, email address, user name and password along with Batch Number, and then click Submit.

Once we receive your completed registration, we do some evaluation.If everything looks good, we usually approve your registration and send your approval email within 24 hours of registration.

From then on, you can login to your profile, and begin your search for a compatible spouse.

Please answer some simple questions about the prospective bride/groom and what they are seeking in a spouse (takes 5 minutes to complete “My profile”). Also type in any additional information especially BIODATA and LOOKING FOR in the last box of “My Profile”

Optionally upload a picture/images (JPEG) if you feel comfortable, and also sometimes images of BIODATA.

Do I have to pay anything for membership fees?

Daanadcmsatrimony was started to help DCMS Alumni and their families around the world to get married. Our main focus is not to make money, but to gain the pleasure by serving fellow alumni and their families. However, it is difficult to maintain, improve, and provide excellent service without some monetary contributions. Therefore, we charge a very nominal fee of US $10 per year to members from ‘Western Countries’ . Members from the rest of the world please email Daanadcmsmatrimony@gmail.com for further assistance.

What kind of password should I select for my account?

For your safety, please make sure you select good complex passwords, that are not too easy to guess. Good passwords are usually at least 12 characters long, with a mixture of uppercase and lowercase letters, and numbers and special characters. Make sure you never give your password to anyone!

How do I use this website to find a compatible spouse?

After logging into your account, you can perform various types of searches for compatible matches.

After running the desired search option, you will get a list of results of members that matched your search criteria. You can then review the profile details of each of the members in the result list.

When reviewing profiles, if you come across a member that seems interesting to you, you can then Express Interest in them by directly Sending a Message to them.

Of course, please keep your messages respectful, and appropriate, and please do keep your parents involved in the communication to avoid any illegal activity. If at some point during the conversation you conclude that the person is not right for you, politely inform them that you are no longer interested, and feel free to express interest or message another member.

On the other hand, after establishing basic compatibility with a prospect, you should plan to meet that member in person with your family. If things proceed well, and both of you and your families feel positive about things, then you can move onto the discussion of marriage.

You can also make some  profiles Favorite which match your criteria by clicking on the Favorite button.

While searching for a life partner, what things should I be careful of?

If anyone ever asks you for money, or if anyone communicates using impolite or vulgar language, please report those members to us immediately!

Especially for sisters, please have parents involved in the communication with the other party to avoid any problems.

Especially in the beginning (before you or your family have had a chance to personally meet the other person), refrain from giving any sensitive personal information about yourself such as Social Security Numbers, Drivers License, Home address, Date of Birth, Full Legal name, etc.

Regarding pictures: we do encourage members to upload pictures. Other option is when you feel that a member is a good potential match, then share your picture.

Refrain from sharing your personal information with the other person until you have established at least some basic level of compatibility. And when you do share email/phone, allow the other party to get in touch with your parents.

Use your best judgement to assess whether the person is trustable, before you drop your guard. Always be cautious, just in case. Of course, we will do our due diligence to ensure that all members on the website are genuine and trustable to create a safe atmosphere for you.

What about my profile information and photos? Are they safe?

Your information on our website is secure and private, so that people can’t simply google your name and come across your profile! There is nothing to be concerned about the info displayed in your profile.

Once again, you may choose not to post photos for additional precaution. This way you control who gets to see your pictures. And feel free to frequently change your password if necessary.
